Choline is a member of the B complex vitamins and is sometimes also known as referred to as vitamin B4. Choline, however, is not a real vitamin, because it can be made in very small quantities by the body itself. Half Vitamin is therefore a better term.
Choline is naturally present in peanut butter, eggs, liver, oatmeal, yeast, cabbage and green leafy vegetables.
Function of choline
Choline in the brains produces a substance that is necessary for the proper functioning of the memory.
