Different types of vitamin D?

 


Vitamin D2 or D3?


Although D2 as D3 are both vitamin D, there is a small difference.
The difference between vitamin D2 and D3 is that D2 has an additional CH3 group (on carbon atom 24), as well as an additional double bond (between carbon 22 and 23).

Often we hear people have values ​​of 20 ... that's actually too low.
To get this value up you need some things:

• And a little luck that your body quickly absorbs the vitamin D.

Pills, capsules or drops of Vitamin D?

Does not matter! What you find easy, fun or nice to use!
Take note of the drops that peanut oil is often used to solve the vitamin D. If you're sensitive to it, search for a liquid form without this peanut oil.

Vitamin D is an oil or fat soluble vitamin, so do not use vitamin D drops in water.

Take note of capsules if you are eating vegetarian, capsules are usually made of gelatin. In that case, choose a vegicap.

 400ie, 1000iu or 75 mcg?

Bother all those differences, nevertheless it is not very difficult!
IE or IU is the same! International Units or International Units is only a difference in language.
So that was easy anyway?

3000IE or 75mcg ... is exactly the same. Divide by or x 40.
Just look: 75mcg x 40 = 3000, still 1 600IE: 40 = 15mcg.
If you now see vitamin D 25mcg, you know it's 1000ie.
