Bio-Fiber is a dietary supplement with added nutrients. Each tablet of 520 mg contains a balanced blend of natural, soluble and insoluble vegetable fibers from apple pectin and sugar beet, which supports the intestinal function. Bio-fiber is used to compensate for a shortage. Dietary fiber in the modern diet Bio-Fiber is active in the intestinal tract where it contributes to normal digestion and prevent constipation.
What is fiber?
Dietary fibers are naturally found in many unprocessed food. They belong to the group of carbohydrates that we are able to digest, is not or only to a small extent, that is to say, to break down sugars and starches with our digestive enzymes.
Fibers and the intestinal flora
An average tract contains about 1 kg and 2 kg up to some intestinal bacteria, spread over 160 different types of bacteria. These bacteria break down difficult to digest proteins and carbohydrates from our food and are therefore dependent on a certain amount of fiber material in the works. The food we consume is of interest to the number and the distribution of the different bacterial species.
Except that they are from a food processing fibrous material, these intestinal bacteria secrete several neurotransmitters which affect the metabolism, and appetite regulation, and the defenses by lymphocytic cells in the intestinal mucosa.
