Mistel: Mistel or Mistletoe is a semi-shrub that occurs widely in Europe and semi-parasitic leanings. Mistletoe also called "mistletoe" named penetrate with its roots in the branches of trees and drained as the sap off. Mistletoe propagates because birds eat the berries and their droppings, containing the seeds, depositing on tree branches. The leaves and stems of mistletoe contain polyphenols. Mistletoe is also rich in lectins and visco toxins which the herb has a heart tonic effect.
Hawthorn: Hawthorn is a shrub or small tree with gray thorny branches. Hawthorn grows throughout Europe, mostly in the woods, but also in thickets and hedges. It is mainly the white flowers that contain most of the active substances and the fruit is a red cylindrical apple fruit that contains two to three seeds. The flavonoids in Hawthorn, especially hyperoside and vitexin, regulate the heartbeat. Hawthorn also has a very beneficial effect on blood flow to the heart muscle.
