Contributes to the maintenance of normal bones
Vitamin K2, in the form of menaquinone-7, is originally from natto. This is a typical Japanese food product obtained from the fermentation (with Bacillus subtilis natto) of soya. Natto is naturally rich in vitamin K2, and then, in particular, the menaquinone-7. This natural vitamin K2-shape is easily digestible and has a longer half-life than other vitamin K2-forms.
Vitamin K is important for blood clotting, but recent findings show vitamin K is also important for the maintenance of strong bones. MenaQ7 also contains vitamin D3. This vitamin contributes to a normal recording and processing of calcium.
