Red yeast rice (also called red yeast rice) is an important part of Asian cuisine.
It is there for centuries consumed in large quantities. Red yeast rice produced by fermentation of rice by the yeast Monascus purpureus which the rice gets a dark red color. During the fermentation process the characteristic components are created. The main one is monacolin K. A daily intake of 10 mg of monacolin K from red yeast rice contributes to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels in the blood.

As a food supplement for adults, 2 times a day 2 capsules with a meal with plenty of water or as recommended.
